Sam’s Drafting Board is a design studio specialising in architecture, planning and interior design with projects ranging in hospitality, commercial, residential & housing, institutions, industrial, sports architecture and non-profit sector that are spread in different parts of the country.

We aim at providing design solutions that have a significant story line drawing its inspiration by careful observation, exploration and research. Experimental in approach, we at SDB, love to try something new. Our design philosophy is ‘elementary’ that allows to stay rooted and ‘form follows fiction’ which drives us to create things out of the box. It is thus an exercise to bind the two and give a balanced output. Also we like to reel our design around nature and less superficiality. Our favourite design quote is that of Pablo Picasso. It says ‘All children are artists. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up’! It gives us a lot of motivation!

We enjoy what we do and hence we are collaborative in nature! Our practice involves a lot of working at every stage starting from understanding the clients brief to conceptual thinking and then analysing it carefully to draw our first story line. Want to create something new? We are here for you!
