The B.A.W.A. CAFÉ, PUNE

Pune

The B.A.W.A. CAFÉ in Viman nagar, Pune was an authentic Parsi restaurant, made in a tiny, old bungalow of about 1600 sq.ft. divided into 3 floors. which needed a lot of alterations in terms of planning and structure in order to accommodate various seating areas for about 72 pax in such a small space. The ambiance was designed in vintage style with a lot of attention is given to tiny details in order to bring in that old school charm. One would find is wonderful arches, intricate carvings and moldings, to rough textured cream walls filled with lots of photo frames, authentic wall arts, heritage tiles, old furniture and antiques restored since years. We brought in the booth seating style back in its element with this project. The design was made to capture the Parsi home feel. It has captured the roots of their culture and brings in that wholesome experience. The outdoor seating is a beautiful wrought iron cement seat chair furniture set up with beautiful greens and textures in the backdrop and an old school building elevation with metal overhangs taking you back in time!
